Problem with dvdfab and dvd shrink

I downloaded DVDFab Decrypter and ripped a Dvd to my pc. (DvD Shrink kept getting cyclic redundancy errors)

After ripping the DvD to my pc I start to back it up with Dvd shrink.

I get 33% of the way into encoding and I get an error message that I don't have enough storage/memory. I notice that the buffer is my full amount of RAM 1 Gig.

What am I doing wrong?

I have also had this problem start as of today. I use DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter, it gets about 5% into the Shrink and gives me the message, I have rebooted the machine, check my processor output, and it never went over 50% use on a 2800plus with 1 gig ram. I am going to attempt to use DVDFab now though see if I run into same problem.

if you are trying to copy a newer dvd it could be encyption so far i found that AnyDVD and clonedvd2 will do all.if it is a older movie sounds like a dirty disk or poor media thats my exsperiance.hope it helps

I found my way around this.. (Didn't want to pay for anydvd).

I used dvdfab decrypter and dvdshrink again.

I re-authored instead of full back up. I never watch the extras anyway so I cut them out. When I did that it burned with no problems.

If you absolutely must see the extras then you may need to listen to sskronic. (Do you do your burning at 4:20? 8^D )

you know it the best time to burn.you can go to anydvds site and download the trial version of AnyDVD and clonedvd2.what can you get done in 20 days.then if you like then purchase and i read that if you use the afterdawns name in the discounts and coupons that they sell it for 29.99 instead of 40.00 not positive.but i read that somewere on this forum

kewl! I will have to check that out.

A little more info on the burning. I couldn't use DVD Shrink by itself by choosing re-athor, I had to rip it with DvDFab Decrypter first.

I do not know why I tried this, but I did a defrag of my system and it worked just fine afterwords.
