I'm sorry to not make your christmas but as your psp is version 2.5 you can't play iso's. The only version that can play iso's is 1.5 but if you had a 2.0 you could have downgraded. I got a 2.0 today and will downgrade :)

geez...
is this becauase ver 2.5 is intrinsically different and impossible to crack? or just because hackers haven't cracked it yet and is just a matter of waiting some more ...

Who knows bottom line you'll have to either wait, or actually buy your stuff like everyone else!

hey steve 191,
maybe I can make YOUR christmas, check this out (from PSP Hacks)
Fanjita? EBOOT loader v0.9 Posted by greg
Fanjita has released a new improved version of his popular EBOOT loader for firmware version 2.0 - this will allow you to run select PSP homebrew apps and games on your version 2.0 PSP.
looks like no need to downgrade your 2.0 ver after all

Thanks for the info.
I agree that this is a nice development but you still can't play iso's...
Looks like i'll have to risk downgrading and BRICKING my psp :(

Supporting the developers is one thing, but the price of some psp games is amazing.
Most new releases near me are going for more than their ps2 version... and what about umd movies, they cost twice as much as a normnal dvd!
£45 a game is way overpriced so it makes sense that we may want to try the iso first as a tester so we don't waste our money.
Not to mention that to have your game collection stored on memory sticks would set you back more than it would to buy the actual games.
Ofcourse you can just transfer what you intend on playing to your stick and leave the rest on the pc, but that defeats the portable bit about the console :)
We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent...

Also please note there is a big difference between 2.0 and 2.x (2.1, 2.5,2.6). So when some one means 2 they strictly (probably) mean 2.0
