dvd shrink error redunduncy cycle

I try to shrink movies and the error redunduncy cycle comes up and will not shrink movies. What can I do to fix this problem

What movie(s) are your doing? Sometimes Shrink gives this error if it can't handle the copy protection. Give decrypter a whirl with the setting ScubaPete recommends in the link. If it's due to copy protection and decrypter can't do it either you'll need dvd fab decrypter and AnyDVD running in the background w/ shrink to give it the boost it needs.

I have noticed something different in the title that appears when opening disk for two recent DVDs that I could not rip with DVD Shrink. There seems to be extra space before the last bracket (]). I was not able to open Golden Girls S3D3 and was unable to rip Madagascar. A new trend or I am doing something wrong? I have burned quite a bit so far. Thanks for any advice. Jake

Well it's not so much a new trend as is it new copy protection. Shrink can't handle madgascar which has Macrovison's rip guard on it without the help of something like AnyDVD. As for Golden Girls if it's only the one disc I'm thinking it may be a bad press? Just a guess.
Another free prog to try and it will handle madagascar is dvdfab decrypter. It can be downlaoded from aD.

That is the new copy protection doing its job. You may need another program such as DVDFab Decrypter (works like DVD Decrypter in file mode), or DVD43 (works in the background stripping protection like AnyDVD), both are free programs.
