I am using dvd dycrypter to dycrypt the movie and everything goes as planned but when I open up dvd shrink to shrink the movie and burn it it tells me " Dvd shrink has encountered a problem and must close. Invalid Dvd navigation structure." I've never had this problem before. Help! Thank you.
Usually Decrypter will error if there is something wrong with the structure. Apparently it is passing it. What movie is this?
Also what region is the movie? Some newer movies have structure protection that old programs like Shrink can't handle.
You could try DVD Fab Decrypter and see if that works. It should correct the problem. It's free:
Howzit going Frank? Happy Hangover to you sir!
I've been reading Cynthia's guides, all about DVDDecrypter and ARccOS DVD protection, over on the Digest
http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=56078 She is Swedish (and seems very smart). Her English is better than most English!
Anyway, they use these tools called the PSL2 plugin for PgcEdit, the FixVTS program and the CRC32 program.
Apparently the DVD structure can get mucked-up, and also there's a hell of a mess left to be cleaned up after this ARccOS is cleaned out, making things compliant again :^)
This FixVTS program in particular, seems perfect for your problem.
They say the 'test' of your structure is DVDShrink - if Shrink will open it then it's okay. You have a structure problem.
Here is a quote from Cynthia (I hope she doesn't mind, and I know she is a Member here)
Quote:A DVD consists of several Video Title Sets (VTS). A VTS is a collection of titles (and optionally menus), which are comprised of one or more Program Chains (PGCs). A PGC is a sequence of cells. A cell in one PGC can be re-used in other PGCs of the same domain (shared cells). All Title PGCs of a VTS must have the same video attributes - the same holds true for Menu PGCs in a VTS.
Anyway, reading about their excellent work, this FixVTS
http://www.videohelp.com/~FixVTS/ does seem very useful, and maybe their tools could help you?
It is all pretty advanced stuff though, even for me, LoL :^)
But I have learned it now. Thanks Cynthia!
Good luck to you maggie3,
Regards
