DVD Shrink Keeps freezing my computer during backup

Everytime I try to back up a DVD my computer freezes. There is no specific time that it decides to freeze. I use to use DVD Shrink all the time and had no problem until one day i left it running and my whole computer crashed. Is there anything that I can do to stop it from freezing so that I can burn dvd's again. Oh yeah the only dvd that i have been able to burn with no problem so far is "Superstar" it is the only one that will do it.

Sounds like a heat issue. Open up your case an point a fan inside of it . See if that helps out, backing up DVD's is very CPU intensive and create a lot of heat in your system, which could become very expensive for you.

I had the same problem as well once. Check to see if you have an old video card. I replaced mine and no coasters and my pc doesnt freeze anymore

What kind of computer stats do you have, i.e. RAM, cpu, drives etc.?

Crashing though is ususally a sign of overheating as Locoeng indicated while using DVDShrink. You should perodically blow out your system to get the fuzz bunnies of the fans and processors.
