i back up a lot of movies. i did the movie the skeleton key a few weeks back and i was using cheep blank media unbranded and the movie played fine untill right to the end and the movie freezes up and won't go any farther. so got arround to doing the movie again and when i put the disk in and started shrink it did not do any analysis at all it just went right in to encoding. so my question is dose shrink keep track of the jobs or movies that it dose? and yes i do delete all of the tempory files in the shrink folder, so whats up? and i have done other movies after i did that movie. i have probley done at least ten movies after i did skeleton key. is shrink keeping a log of some sort that the users don't know about? any feedback is welcome thanks.

Yes it keeps a record of it.

And I think, if I remember correctly it is located in C:/Documents and Settings/Admin/DVDShrink or something like that.

I am not at my home computer so I can't check for sure.

Yes, I have had it happen. I remember reading a thread about it here some time back. I looked and sure enough, there is a file in Admin that says DVDShrink and in it are the quick analysis of the movies that I backed up. You can delete them if you want.
