Emule low user id! PLEASE help!

How do I get a higher user id on Emule? I just installed it. I am not behind a firewall, no router (used to have one to this pc), etc. I am clueless. It looks like a great program but will be useless if I can't dl or everything is so slow. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

You're client port is not reachable by the server therefore something must be blocking it! This could be a firewall, router or even your isp!

How do I find out which one is the problem? I'm totally lost.

Windows XP Home Ed 2002
256 MB Ram
Celeron CPU 1.80 GHZ
(I once had a router connected but I have since not needed it. I only unplugged the wires... never actually "reconfigured the pc w/out router". Do I even need to? Just thought this could possibly be something.)

on some servers, you always get al low ID, because they are not well configured. you should try another server maybe.
sometimes it also helps to start emule without connecting. let it run for a few minutes and connect then.

gidgette, there is something blocking a direct connection with your client port and thats most likely the problem behind your low id but do try a few alternative servers just to check that thats ok!
