is there a way to shrink mp3 files so that it takes less room on ur memory card? like say a song has 3mb and i want to shrink that to lets see 1 mb can i??? how. can i do the same with videos??

Not shure if you can shrink the mp3 file , BUT ! i do know of a way to get a major file size difference . Its somthing called ATRAC it has major size differances and the PSP is compatible with it as far as i know . Check it out ;-)

Use sonicstage 3.3. It files by album or playlist music copied to PSP, it's great not havin git all thrown in their random, and yes during transfer you set the bitrate you want it to go to PSP as and it will convert to atrac3plus
