Dual layer discs using dvd shrink 3.2

I have used dvd decrypter to make a full film copy on to a dvd-r dual layer 8.5gb without any problems. I would rather use dvd shrink to do that so i can cut out unwanted extras that come along with a film. I have tried many times using dvd shrink 3.2. I switch onver to dvd 9 in the options for a 8.5 gb dvd-r and i have no problem analyzing and decoding but when dvd shrink is done encoding a screen pops up and says that i am using a cd-r disc and that i need to insert a disc with the proper space.I have already updated my firmware also. If anyone has had this problem and soved it can you please let me know what you did. Thank you

Using DVD Shrink for your purpose is the wrong program, it is used to compress a DVD-9 down to fit on a DVD-5. Try VOBBlanker, you can get it here: http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/guides.htm

You can strip the FBI warnings, trailers etc.
