I have been using DVD Shrink for over a year and I have been very happy with it. Recently I reformatted my computer and reinstalled all my programs. DVD Shrink burns the programs to my hard drive just fine, but it doesn't seem to be recognizing Nero anymore. I am clueless as to what to do with the files on my hard drive. How can I fix this problem so I can automatically burn to DVD-r. I did make sure that the box in properties linking to Nero was checked.
I also tried to reinstall my DVD Xcopy but it tells me that I have used my program the allotted number of times and it will not be registered. Thank you so much for any assistance you guys can give me.

You indicate that you have checked the enable burning with Nero in shrinks preferences. Do you have the latest version of Nero? It should be 6.6.0.18

Do you get any error messages? If so what exactly do they say?

Have you done a burner firmware update to make sure that your burner is up to date?

After the reformat did you install Nero first or Shrink? Try uninstallling Shrink and reinstalling it and see if this makes a difference. Also on your Xcopy go to the Xcopy forum and it has the info on contacting International you may be able to get more activations.

Thank you for getting back to me so promptly. The version of Nero I am using is 6.3. It worked fine before I reinstalled Windows. Initially, Shrink was installed first. I then reinstalled it after I installed Nero. It copies the DVD fine and where it used to burn automatically using Nero, it now says that the file is on my hard drive and ready for burning. The files as they are, I have no idea how to put them on a disk. I just read that I can no longer get AnyDVD. Is there anything similar to this program avaiable? Thanks.

AnyDVD is still available from http://www.slysoft.com

Here is a link to update your Nero as your 6.3 version is ancient:

You can also use DVDdecrypter or imgburn to burn the ISO file as well. They are free and you can get them here:
