I read all these messages about using DVD decrypter, VobBlanker, DVDFab, AnyDVD and other tools to copy dvds when I'm only using DVD Shrink and Nero to copy them. Am I missing out on something?

There is nothing wrong with DVD Shrink and Nero. If it works for you, then more power to you. On the other hand, both DVDFAB Decrypter and DVD Decrypter are both ripper (possibly two of the best and FREE at the moment) and they're ripping flawlessly if you know how to use it.

In query to VobBlanker, it is definitely one of the most strongest tool to PROCESS and FILTER out craps, junks, fake/bad cells, pgcs, protected sectors, etc. In addition, it's FREE, powerful, very useful, a must have tool to keep, especially for ARccOS and RipGuard. Here is a safe download zip file of VobBlanker 2.1.0.0 http://members.aol.com/posunplugged/jsoto/VobBlanker_2100_exe.zip if you haven't done so. By the way, it's only a small 900KB (not even 1MB).

Best of lucks and happy burning!!

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

If you run into a DVD that Shrink can't handle then some additional help from AnyDVD, DVDFab Decrypter and VobBlanker helps.

What you are using is just fine and you are aware of these other programs which will get the job done...just in case.
