a tutorial would be nice but just go to torrent sites look for PS2 SNES EMULATOR, and ull get it, its a cd and it comes packed with snes games, it works fine if you have a modchip.

It's called SNES Station, and just about everything about it can be found on this website: http://ps2emu.dcemu.co.uk/snesstation.shtml
I downloaded this from somewhere, extracted the files from ISO, took out all the sh**ty games I didn't want, and added a few new ones. Then, burned the files back to ISO (including the ROMS dir) and it worked great. I'm using SMv3.6 on an unmodded SPCH-70012 US.

1. OK, first go to http://snes-station.gamebase.ca/index.htm, click on the diskette and download the emulator and CDGEN.
2. Go to Freeroms.com and download all the snes roms that you want.
3. Once your done with that open the CDGEN.zip and open the (english) version of cdgen.
4. Then op0en the emulator zip, which will be snessumthinsumthin.zip.
5. Drag SYSTEM.CNF into CDGEN and then drag SNES_EMU.ELF into CDGEN, they have to be in this order.
6. Open you roms one by one and drag the SMC file into CDGEN, these can be in any order but remember, whatever order you make is the way they will be on the disk. Ex., NBAJAM.ZIP will contain two html documents and an smc file, make sure you grab the smc file. You have to have at least ten roms.
7. Once all your files are in CDGEN, right click SYSTEM.CNF and click edit. Clcik the fix LBA box and type in 12231 and hit OK.
8. Now your all set to create your image. In CDGEN on the left side, you'll see a box with a cd that says IMG, click it, remember where you put your image, I just throw it on the desktop. It might take a second to create the image, if it seems like it is freezing just let it keep going. After that just burn it to a cd-r. I use Alcohol 120. Also has to be DAO. So get to it. Let me know if you needs some more help.
9. You have to use swapmagic to load this cd, once it loads you'll see a list of the roms you added. Scroll and pick one, once your in a game, if you want to return to the main menu or save(you can save all of your game progress, it creates a memory manager on you memory card) just press L1-R1 or L2-R2.

Second open the Nero burning rom software and setup the setting like this

Formant:Mode 2/XA
Character set: ISO9660 (standing ISO Cd-rom)
*Burn
make the speed at least 4x or 8x the most when your done click New
ok it time to drag the files you need here the list you should have on the left side

I found a .torrent awhile back called "Snes-station v0.2.3 & 500 Best games". If you want to find a preburned .iso and write it to CD, that's a good choice. Only prob is so many generic games on there :(
When playing SNES Station, remember if you press L2+L1+R2+R1 simultaneously (all 4 top buttons), it will let you go back and select a diff game to play.

did you get the image created correctly?, burned it with alcohol?
I'll run ya through Alcohol 120...
1. select IMAGE BURNING WIZARD
2. when it brings up the select your image file box, click browse, it'll bring up another box, at the bottom where it says files of type, bring up the dropdown and click on All Files (*.*). Then you should be able to find your image. select it and click next.
3. Make sure you select your cd-r drive. Set your write speed at 2x or 4x.
4. WRITE METHOD should be DAO and WRITE
5. NUMBER OF COPIES 1
6. and click start, your should have it ready to go in about 10 minutes.

if you still have any problems it might swap magic 2, I'll check on that

@delkims, that is a little hard to believe. Most CDR media supports several write speeds, the DVD/CD writer may support several or all speeds depending on the manufacturer. I've used TDK & Maxell media at 10X speeds (lowest my DVD/CD writer support), never have any skips or problems. btw, don't use that (crappy) media I'm just using as a past example.

p.s. i rename my roms so they are only 8 charactors long......... more than that, and your system needs a modchip.

i'm going to try the burning method as written out here:
http://snes-station.gamebase.ca/files/snes_cd_020.pdf
to burn my other apps and emus that i found here:

typhoonjo, you must have either a modchip or swap magic to run ANY type of game or code on a newer (v11+) PSTwo slimline. On the older fat PlayStation2, you could have used either: a) modchip b) swapmagic c) Independence exploit
