I am having trouble shrinking several movies. like flight plan, underclassman, madagascar and several others. I get emmediate read errors from dvd shrink I've tried re-authoring the movies and still don't work, if anyone can help, pleas do so.... delahoya_eli@hotmail.com

Hey delahoya,
The first thing you should do is remove your E-mail address, you don't want too may people to know it (can you say spam target), besides it's against forum rules.

Because shrink and decrypter are no longer updated there're going to need some help with backing up sony or microvision protected DVDs.

There many ways to get successful backups of these flicks, but buy far the easiest is to use anydvd. Anydvd is a driver that once installed runs silently in the backround to crack the encryption while using shrink or decrypter.

I've run into these problems while ripping Madagascar, and a few other movies. If you have AnyDVD (if you don't then you should get it before trying the rest of this) running in the background, and still get an error message. You should first: rip to your hd (I use DVD Decrypter) second: run the files through VobBlanker, then third:run the files through shrink...
