Dvd shrink is not working for me please help!

I have nero, AnyDvd and dvd shrink installed on my computer and I am having alot of trouble copying dvd's. It worked perfectly the first time but now I get one error message after another I am using a brand of dvd-r called imation. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Can someone give me a step by step?

What movie are you having problems with?

Have you tried using DvdDecryptor or DvdFabDecryptor to extract it to your PC in file mode?

And yes, dump the Imation. Even if you get them to work. A year from now they probably won't.

CRC means that it's either scratched or dirty. If after you've cleaned it and it still doesn't work then exchange, it's a bad press. Unless you've got a DVD repairer. The second one means the same thing. DVDFAB and DVDEcrypter work better w/ troubled disc so try those two proggies.

newgirl26, you can still try to back up your dvd's with the Imation discs. Try one of these guides that use DvdDecryptor or FabDecryptor. They're both free, and I'm betting at some time or another your going to need one of them eventually.

Doesn't hurt to practice on those Imations.

Also what glueeater said was correct. You can sometimes have a bad press, or need to clean the dvd. If your dvd already has a deep scratch in it, you might be out of luck.
