I am trying to copy a movie for my daughter. I can't get dvd shrink to work. It won't do anything. When I try to copy the movie it processes and then doesn't respond. Hope that makes sense.

we like that term better then copy !!
perhaps you need another program like dvd fab or DVD Decrypter to help. until you provide more info, i can help you a bit more..
when you load the disk in, then open shrink, click at the top, open dvd.
you should see your drive and the movie name or something like dvd movie... something has to show up.
then let it analyze....
do you get that far?
Either too dirty or scratched. Could be a bad press, in which case you can exchange it. You can use furniture waz to fill in the scratches (major only) and wipe.
