it has been out for ages, in lite and pro versions.

Unless you meen "dms4 EZI (effort zero installation)", which is out very soon...

I just got the online adaptor for my ps2 (v7). I don't know what type of mod chip I have but I get a dnas 402 error when I try to connect. Is the mod chip causing this and is there anyway around it?

your gettting this because your playing a backup game. an original would work fine. you can patch your backup with the disk id utility on ps2ownz.com read the first couple pages of this thread!

If your trying to play an original online, youll probably need to disable the mod chip.
