i am almost finished the game.i just finished the final round of the main tournament held in rome of all gladitorial tournament.i now gonna now have to beat the final boss of the final tournament of gladitorial game.

There must be a rope or some kind of of bottol there find it and use it to strangle the guard of hit him.do it from behind him.The best thing to do is to use a walkthrough.U can find a complet walkthrough of shadow of rome in gamespot.com.
Anyways i have finished the game today.This is one of the best game ps2 have relesed in 2000 to 2005.

Changing the dummy file wasn't working but patching the ISO did.

Finally.... after around 15 coasters(give or take) the patch worked, and I have been lovingly chopping off peaople's limbs... thank you all for the help after I had lost all hope

Got it working with SM3 by manually editing the dummy.bin but had to burn using UDF/ISO with Nero.

Hi everyone,
i have a simple questions, maybe some of u guys can help me out:
I tried to burn the final(with the notepad-dummy file) iso with nero cause the setup on cddvdgen won´t work on my computer, don´t know why, but ok! So i tried it with nero6! (ISO or ISO/UDF Project)
But i can´t sort the files like they are originally cause nero sorts the files on it´s own! does that matter??
and
why do i have a read error in isobuster while creating the iso on my hd?
the last sectors are unable to read (i believe it is the system file of the game)
and the last one
if i want to use the patch with ppf-o-matic, i know that i need to have the iso (created with dvd-decrypter) on my hd! than simply browse the iso and the patch in ppf-o-matic and apply! and after that?? burn it with nero?? (iso project?)

It's the order you drag them into Nero that's important - do it one by one in the order they appear in the iso, (ignore neros rejigging) and then burn with the ISO/UDF preset.

Hey i got shadow of rome working i used 3 discs the first one didn't work i tried to copy it with nero like someone said and on the second one i copied it with isobuster, cdgen, cdgen isobuilder works perfect very bloody game cool also on the other one i did i used the ppf patch with ppf-o-matic works like a charm also so there it is if anyone needs any help with a program or needs a program just email me ill hook ya up just trying to do my part in here since this is where i started all my learning and people helped me also really quick i had to install .ocx files in my sys32 folder to make cdgen isobuilder to work for me its awesome no more messing with Dosprompt sweet!!!!!!!!! the best to get all ya Ps2 needs is from Ps2fliptop.net they rock also ive been using Verbatim 8x dvd-r and just got some Ridata Ritek 8x discs so far so good been doing this stuff for awhile now also i always burn at 2x seems to work better for me.

ok. Theres two things going on here from reading this post. I see that there are two ways to get SHADOW OF ROME to work. 1. replace the bin file with a blank bin file. 2.put a patch from internet. Well which one is it???? and how do i rebuild to a ISO? I tried with sonic heroes using the mdos but it doesnt work. please help

it can now be found on ps2nfo.com...but my problem is im using smdvd2.0 and all i get is the black screen upon loading (which usually requires the use of smcd->cdloader->smdvd->backup multi swaps :(
so is this a direct boot with smdvd2.0? or does it require the cdloader swap method? i ask this because the smcd3 that i have doesnt work with the pstwo slimline :(

have tried to rebuild game using cdvdgen but when i come to record on i get a message saying total sector exceeds the recordable sector on layer 0
anyone have any ideas what this means and how to get past it i would really appreciate your help

im confused i extracted the dummy file, and now i open it with note pad one space and then put it back on the iso and im done?
