the incredibles is a faulty dvd and to my knowledge very few have made a full ocpy of the dvd with all the features and menus, what i did was in DVD Shrink re-author and jus take the main movie, back that up and burn the dvd with a free trial of clone dvd 2, work perfect on my dvd then, also u cud hav saved ppl alot of hassle cus this thread was posted a few days ago with the answers i jus gave, so in future search around instead of pancicking and seeking help straight away

bbmayo,

I would try not to reinvent the wheel with demonil for the moment. He is obviously a real newbie since his first posts ever were right here in this thread.

Why not let him D/L AnyDVD and use it in the background along with his DVDxCopy program since he is used to that one. Use it along with the new Sony media he purchased and then get back here with the results. Then we can find out where his problem really is, Hardware, Software, or just the way he was doing it in the first place.

I would think that after 20+ posts to this thread you would want an easy solution. Am I correct?

I want to make it easy enough to help find out what the problem is, whether it is hardware, software or procedure. You did ask for help correct?

First off, you already stated that you have used DVDxCopy with no problems.

Then by doing this one thing, just one thing, you can still use DVDxCopy exactly the same way, but this time, it will work with all encryptions out there including the newest from Sony.

So if you download AnyDVD, a free 21 day trial, and install it, it will run in the background of your PC. No need to figure out anything, no manuals to read, etc.

Then just burn your movie like you always do, with DVDxCopy. Then just let us know how it turns out.

So here we go, you can do exactly what you have done before you ever posted in this forum, and with just one program running in the background, you can get the results you want. Later, when you have more time, you can then play around and experiment with other programs such as DVD Shrink.

So once again, you can use DVDxCopy.
Just install one program, AnyDVD.

You will get your results.

Scubabud,
The problem is the entire movie with the incedibles which is why I was trying to get him to use my guide with picyures and step by step instruction on how to do everything, but for some reason he fails to try that like there is a virus on my link or something. I did The Incredibles easily with CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD other proggys including Xcopy are having problems with the whole movie. I think I am done in this thread so if you can help him out please do ;-)

bbmayo, I agree 400% with what you have said, with your guides, and also with your patients. I also hear the frustration within demonil. That?s why I stepped in; to make what I felt could be an easy way, without manuals and guides, to accomplish the final goal of burning the movie. I too had no problem with this burn, using Nero Recode2 with AnyDVD in the background, and it worked great, no flaws and was a very easy process. I cannot see a problem with demonil doing it the way he always has before by just using AnyDVD to break the encryption. If it doesn?t work that way, then its what I stated in my previous post, one of those three items.

If you used AnyDVD and DVDxCopy and it didn't work, then neither is any other program going to work. It's now not the program but either your hardware or how you are doing it.

Burning is a very simple process.

You need to decrypt the copy protection and to shrink it down from a DVD9 to a DVD5 disk.

DVDxCopy can do both with most of today?s movies, but with some it needs a little help. If you had AnyDVD running in the background, then it should have worked. End of story!

Did your DVDxCopy work for other movies before the Incredibles, Yes or No will work on this question. Just a Yes or No please.

I think the biggest problem was all the advise he was getting from every other which way, and he was getting confused. everyone was just trying to help is all, but I do believe he is straight now. :-)

Congrats demonil

One side note.. I havent used Yahoo IM in years man that little proggy has came a long ways. I think I need to get reaquanted with that again :-)

I think AD should think seriously about having a IM service available.. That would be cool :-)

I'll make sure that I do not tick that function as well. Thanks for the heads up! :)

I only fire up AnyDVD when I am ready to burn. I?ve heard that on occasion, it has interfered with other Windows Programs so I figured why take that chance. Overall it is a tremendous program that is kept up very well.

LOL.. Thats all AnyDVD does.. It just sits down there in your system tray as a little red fox doing it's thing. You wont even realize it is there :-)
AnyDVD is a driver, which descrambles DVD-Movies automatically in the background. This DVD appears unprotected and region code free for all applications and the Windows operating system.

Basically it tricks your drive into thinking there is no encryption or region code on an original DVD :-)
