OK guys. Need a little info here. Who manufactures the Verbatim 4X DVD +R Discs? I have a picky machine in my media center, Apex DRX-9000. The machine is a good one. Does a great job on all fronts though old. I'm hoping Ricoh manufactures them as they are low priced. But, I will pay more for great quality and to keep the coaster collection at minimum.
My choices are from the following manufacturers:
Mitsubishi 002
Yuden T00 and T01
Ricoh R00 and R01
Sony D01
Maxell 001
TDK 001

These are all 4x +R's.

Any info you can give would be appreciated.

i'm not too au-fait with the older stuff, however did a couple searches -

- i only found top stuff with the 4x, with the older speeds i found the odd reference to everyone's worst manufacture - CMC..

Thanks for the info! Verbatim seems to go with the best deal. You would think these old 4x's would be cheap to pick up. Saw some on ebay made by Maxell. Maxell does good on the Apex machine.
