I really dont know what to tell you. I guess you are just not meant to play your games on your hdd online.

hay,i made the image with cdgen and burnt it to disk, well it seems to have booted, but all i have infrontt of me a grey screen with launchelf v3.4 in the top right and top left says selext config.
any ideas???

ok i managed to get hdl working ive tried all my games and now i do get past network adapter check, butu still get dnas -880 or -860 error.
and the only game i have without dnas check is socom and now that says nothing about the network adapter, but just freezes up at the same point.
so for now it looks like im stuck.
thanks for the help anyway

woohoo just been reading about the o2 modchip, mr x has just realeashed o2 dnas defeat.plus something to enable dvd9 games on the hdd.
all this means ps2 v1-10 PAL with HDD installed will be able to enjoy online play.
but dont get to excited, the only way you will be able to go online of your HDD with the o2 chip, is if you own your own personal copy of the game.as it should be, save alot of grief.
so im off to learn how to install a o2 mod.
ill see you severaL BLOWN up consoles l8tr.

Dr, If you use my DVD9_HDLOADER you will be able to play dual layer games off the hdd. There is documentation in my AIO disk set to explain how you do that.

I tried to play fight night round 2 online from the hdd , but i get DNAS error -401.
Does anyone tried universal SMAP.irx?

some1 should make software to enable onine play...4 hdloader , and let me get somthin straight : official sony HD's CAN play online thru HD and PASSES the DNAS chek , correct?

With the sony hd you do not load the games onto it, and also it gets enabled because its (official) hint hint, and it is meant to be enabled. But you can use hd loader advance with the sony hd but you still couldnt get past the dnas with the game even on that hd, and sont might catch you. eee gats lol

u cant go online cos these hd programs highjack certain drivers that r needed for online play. i dont think they disabled it on purpose. they r playin wiv the law anyway, with copying the games, basically encouraging u to back up games instead of paying for them

Hello guys/girls,
Can someone tell me please how to set up online play? I have an ethernet connection and the network adaptor disk. I am new at this never played online before. I am extremly bored playing the computer need better competition. I am blowing out the computer in NHL 2005 and NBA Live 2005. PLEASE HELP ME. I've read the comments below, just wondering if I am way off base with the ethernet connection, because you guys are talking about patches and stuff. Oh by the way I have HD Loader which is the greatest thing invented next to women obviously.

Hey dudes.... I currently have HDAdvanced 2.0 with a 200G HD in my PS2 (no modchip in this one, lol) and with some tools found on the net and great research from websites, I have all of my Online PS2 Titles working. All you need to do is make the back-ups of your games patchable or ID'able! Inserting the originals Disk ID so DNA$ will recognize your back-up as an original disk! :-)

so since you are using an original disk you dont have a mod chip to dissable. My version of hdd loader is a homebrew app so I need a mod chip to run it. Thats why I cant pass dnas, not the game.
