do you guys know this leaves ghosts on your psp? like if you have a pic as your background eventually whenever you leave that menu you will see a faint clear version of the pic u have as a background. i ruined a psp with this crap, whenever i play a game on my ruined psp i see invader zim in front of the game, i highly reccomend not using this but if you like ruining your stuff... go ahead and theres an easier way to do all this, go here: http://files.pspupdates.com/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,40,698 to get sei psp tool, and that auto installs homebrew onto your psp (1.5 or 1.0). so ya i dont reccommend pspersonilize

@nigiic, are you getting two folders(pspersonalize and pspersonalize%) in your "game" folder?
also are you putting your renamed pic(i.e. 07, hos to be named a number for that month, don't put ".bmp" it will do it for you) on the very first screen when connected to your pc with your psp..the one with the psp and possibly MS_ROOT folders?
you should get a pspersonalize icon and below it a corrupt data file when you go to the memory stick (the one below the umd symbol) option on your psp after disconnecting

@evnflow yes. i got all that just when i hit X on the pspersonilize or w/e it takes me to the psp thing then that fades out, then to a black screen then to main menu saying its currupted.,
@solargame, wat do u mean? i used SeiPSPToolv0.5

the problem with sei psp tool is that it works on most apps, try using the kxploit, that will have a 100% accuracy. and remeber to rename your bitmaps to 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 and place them next to the PSP folder and the MP_ROOT folder (not very psp has the MP_ROOT folder).

go to psp-hacks.com go to the downloads section and find Kxploit(direct Loader) and then go to the psp hacks section and go to "how to use KXPLOIT"

@solargame, thanks...ill check it out in a bit..maybe im doing somethign totally wrong does it matter if i upgraded my psp? to the latest versoin from the network thingy? or no? can i downgrade? i remember updated and installing some new versoin on my psp

if you have recently upgraded(within last few months) it will NOT work, you will have to wait a few more months at least to get it to work.

go to the system setting then system information, what does it say in the firmware part, is it 1.51 1.52 or whatever, tell me, if its over 1.5 your out of luck, you will have to wait about a few months in my opinion, if your lucky.

SON OF A dfsvgmfgklsjhglkshfsd its 1.52....what will i b waiting for?, wait so pretty much everything on this site does nothing for me? is there no way to reset my psp to stock software and crap? downgrade? or am i just screwed period?

sorry my friend, but like you said, it will provide nearly nothing to you, but check it out once in a while to see maybe wht you are looking for has been released(they will always post it on the home page on psp-hacks.com), i hope i have helped you.

hey i wouldn't fry it just yet, just go up to the store and tell them that it freezes sometimes and you want to replace it, if it works fine for them tell them it still works just freezes every once and awhile...they should replace it for you....solargame, sup? back at it again huh...nice move on the firmware, totally slipped my mind...haven't updated mine and forgot people are still updating..lol

it still seems people are having problems with the PSPersonalize and Kxploit(running homebrews), so go to http://www.freewebs.com/pspcrack this site has the perfect guides and downloads, the site is new so dont expect too much, but the guides have been tested and are A OKAY.

still have to write the guide for kxploit but it is identical to sei psp tool..so it may be used for both just a few changes and i will put them in now...good luck to all...like solargame said it's new so be gentle, lol ;)

but dont get us wrong, its growing fast, its been up for nearly 1 day(8:00 is when it officially becomes 1 day old) its been up for nearly 1 day and its already got around 150 hits, thats pimpin.
