Ok Guys It's really simple just do this... First you have to make sure your psp is upgraded to the correct version...to do this follow these instructions
1.uder the settings menu go to system settings, from there go to system info. Under version you should have v.2.50 if not follow this link to upgrade. http://www.us.playstation.com/PSP.aspx?id=softwareupdate/pc_200.html
after you upgrade you will see(under your usb connection in your "my computer") when you connect your psp to your comp. via usb cable. there will be either PSP or MP_ROOT, open PSP, then open PHOTO. put the backround image you want for your psp in this PHOTO folder. then disconnect your psp... now under the photo menu on your psp screen you will find your image, open it up and press 'triangle' , a small menu will open up near the top, in this menu there should be a logo that looks like a small arrow pointig at the bottom right corner of a screen with a cross made out of dots on it , select this and under the menu it should say 'set as wallpaper' select this option. it should have a thing saying you need to change to 'use wallpaper mode , if it does not do this auta matically for you then go under your settings menu and go to theme settings, from here you can change the color of your text and change your wallpaper from 'do not use' to 'use'...
