i have tried with TDK and Imation blank DVD's and both didnt work. i guess its just a hardware issue..

why TDK and Imation ? - both use differing quality manufacturers

can't remember if we asked you to do this before or not. Download dvdinfopro (free from www.dvdinfopro.com) and run a TDK disk, then an Imation disk thru it's media info check and paste results here. Hopefully you haven't bought the crap ones...

HAHAHA, yah, you know ME, especially ME and my love for memorex~ :) LOL

i will most likely reback them up on some GOOD MEDIA, my trusted TYs or as my buddy creaky would suggest, his favorite Verbs~ :)

but, it's the thought that counts~ i sincerely appreciate you taking the time to do the backups for me, regardless of WHAT media it is on...when it comes time for me to return the favor to you, rest assured i will ONLY use TY or Verbs for your copies :) i don't cut corners when it comes to media, i STICK W/ THE BEST, to prevent from failing like the rest~ good day to you andmerr~

i would NOT recommend either of those 2 choices for media, as creaky mentioned earlier, might prove helpful to find the media codes for your imation or tdk~ i am HOPING you didn't get any CMC MAGs~ :)

And as a joke i thought about sending it on memorex b grade discs but the problem with them is that once you burn to them nothing re reads them

LOL...if you sent them on memorex b grade discs, you would be sending me TRASH from another country and then i would have to simply pass the trash onto geestar~ :) my only excuse when he can't read them either is, "that's how i got them from andmerr" ~ LOL
some say "one man's trash is another man's treasure", well, i DON'T think this quote holds true in this instance...memorex is crap and crap is still crap even when sent overseas~ :)

it might take a few discs as:

have 8 episodes of manga
547 pics of raven riley
6000 pics of the top 10 women
and assorted video
all in AVI (give you gentleman something to do )

this thread has dragged on a bit now so i can't remember what the original problem was off the top of my head; download dvdinfopro (free from dvdinfopro.com) and run one one your blank discs thru it's media info check, pasting results here
