ok guys dont say i dont help you get your posts up.He's an easy one, i've already given the technical advise maybe you can suggest the discs to be used..........get those posts up but knowing you two it wont be long before it goes off topic............

I'm a bit confused, months ago in a few of the threads everyone was saying stay away from disk made in japan, and use the ones from taiwan now its reversed please explain

I don't recall ever hearing that bit of information...I've always recommended the japanese discs. Verbatims are OK if made in Taiwan, but most other manufacturers outsource to CMC Magnetics for their discs...these are pure trash.

Hey guys, sorry i didn't get in on this one from the start. :) Thats the problem with having very little info to go on. We all start trying to become psychics, or is it psychos?? A log give us all something concrete to work with. Can't blame ppl for guessing, but betting on the problem is probably pushing the line a little bit.
See what crack does to you gear79? I warned you about that flaming wrench/crack pipe you have in your sig. Just say no,,buddy :) LOL..

The Verbs from taiwan are also good. Rest of the stuff should be made in japan.

I get almost 300 HP from my Jeep, and Lots of torque!! :) though nothing like what you got there gear79. Trans Ams were great vehicles, i drove a couple of them before and talk about POWER, would burn rubber without even trying. Probably sux on gas now though.
Of course my jeep could take that trans am in the dirt. :) or up a hill, over the river and far away... to grannys house we go..:)
Hey there gurnard, hows it going buddy? I got some ritek 03's in a Fuji +R pack MIT and they are not bad. Haven't had any problems with them. The only reason i kept them was because i have seen you rave about them. No coasters so far, but i think i will stick with my Tys and Verbs for the most part. Wont pass up on those riteks if they are on sale though. :)

@ gear79 yep your right. only used 50 on creaky's reccommendation to compere with my Ritek, so feel i'm not in a position to advise on them yet. not only that ,i keep forgetting their in my sig (old age you know )

i must admit, i get a little lonely in my stance for Ritek. took a lot of stick over the last 10mth's or so. but i don't care. i like it here and the ppl, and i'll carry on trying to spread the word :)

I've used about 300 of the verbs, all made in Taiwan...no problems yet, other than rookie errors and such. Now I'm a Maxell/Hitachi man(MIJ), full hub printables...that's all I use now.

I think gurnard is in the UK, and im not sure they have office depot there. Didn't when i was stationed there in 81, but that was a looonnng time ago. You stick with it gurnard. Those riteks are working fine for you, and many others.
