If you have an original Action Replay or Action Replay MAX, you can indeed boot .elf files which can include Swap Magic. Another method would be to use the Independence Exploit. I don't know if there's a Swap Magic 3.6 .elf file available or not, but there's definitely a 3.3 and a Coder 3.8 version around.
