The same can really be said bout ps3, im sure there will be alot of exclusives but i doubt that more than a few will be worth it. And the same thing will go for 360. Stop trying to compare back to original xbox, that i can tell you obviously didnt have many or close to any exclusives. But the 360 is looking promising, im looking forward to many of the new games.

i just read up on test drive unlimited and not only does that game have great graphics but its also a killer app. it is the first M O O R to ever be made, (masivly open online racing). oh and if you thought obvlivion was big, check this game out, its a 1000 miles of realtime game, which will be online for people to ride around instead of waiting in lobbies for races they can ride there cars that they win in races around hawwai and look for races, i think its awesome and the best thing is its completely exclusive. they also mentioned stuff like clans mates, so i think there is stil loads to be let out, hopefully e3 will hold the key.

anyone can go.
ps3 will have two models, a 20gb(499)and a 60gb(599) model. ill be hitting up the 599 model, eff yeah.
its said in roumour that the 20-gb model wouldnt do 1080p, have any mem card slots, has no wifi, and does not do hdmi. this is not confirmed at the moment.
the contoller will be a modefied dualshock with usb-b port on it, 6-axis sticks, and bluetooth for connection to the ps3 and anything else bluetooth (phone pc or pda, you name it).
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

How can it output 1080p without HDMI? I thought analog outputs will be limited to 1080i.

Hmmmmm.things aren't looking good for Sony at the moment,according to sources at E3,running nearly an hour behind,showing vids,not actual games on the PS3,noticed they have changed the controller,back to almost dual shock looks,they seem to be pushing the PSP more than the PS3

its only the first day. the got the nessesary things out of the way and are preparing for the next several days.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

They change the controller because gamers didnt like it & said it was uncomfortable not because of problems.Plus they will unveil the PS3(more about it) the last day of the Show. Sony always wait til the last day of the show to show it all.

@ cmk0121,from what i have been hearing,microsft and nintendo wii have been fairing extremely well,apparently a lot of unhappy public response to sony on their PS3

If you look at the E3 live on G4 i would say Nintendo first then SONY.LOL HALO 3 had the biggest gaming booth of all the 360 titles why? this game dont come out til 2007 a year from now.Sound like Panic mode to me....

i think it was all fanboys. the trailer blew, really. there was nothing but a show of a rip from xenosaga. and is it completely proven realtime? stats and free movment shown? cuz bungies site says something like "we showed a realtime demo, but its your choice if you think it is or not cuz how can we prove it?" they should have done like mgs4 and changed lighting and reversed time and fast forwarded and all that. i'm not convinced, but who knows really. everything is 'realtime' these days.

Don't judge the consoles by specs, more isnt always better, espec in PS3 specs.i know the truth, ask if u wanna know.......

thats how my friend got in. he was a member of the psu (playstation underground) and he was invited. i was in it then but i didnt get one, and i was too young anyways.

The reason why E3 is closed to the public is becuase the organizers don't want crazy kids and fanboys swarming all over the exhibits and conferences. We can watch it in real time because tech networks such as G4 cover these events completely and very well.
@heraldsun - Aren't you a journalist for the Herald - and the Sun?

@ eatsushi,that bit i can understand *S*,but isn't that how E3 started out,i remember seeing pictures somewhere years ago of kids playing demos,etc,etc,i can understand what you are saying,but if it is closed to the public,it's obvious that it's closed for a reason,other than just kids running a muck.
