So E3 is coming up soon, all of you i know are anticipating it, there should be alot more
info about the ps3 released. we've waited this long, and its time they show us the bells
and whistles included with the ps3.
They will talk about options with their online, the parts included, maybe price, and about
the future of the system. Alot more will be said, but at the moment little is currently
known. What is known is that the ps3 entered testing, and that means they have
prototypes, and if a prototype works nice, it means ps3 in strong supply and a playable
ps3 at e3.

2 things to expect
initial hope for the 360
but then the realization that ps3, will dominate so bad ppl will wonder if its legal.

yeah. we know about the 360 tho, it wont be the highlight of the event. ps3, bluray, and the rev will seek most media and fan attention.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

well, if the ps3 show lots of ingame and its good ingame then it willprobably steel the show but with people thinking that the only thing to release on xbox 360 for 2006 is gow, all i can say is they will have a nice suprise.

Will G4 cover E3 LIVE & what is the first day it start next month......... @ cmk0121 i hope they do show some games because it seem that all X-BOX did was port games..The only big game they could call there own was HALO..As for PS2 there was alot of Big title games..X-BOX suck too me.

xbox to this point including the 360 has had a lack of exclusives.then end of that is near with MS signing plenty of new game developing compaines to make exclusive games for them. Halo was all they had before.soon they'll have gears of war,too human,prey and a plethera of other games. viva pinata is due out later this yr and people(kids) seem to be excited about that so Ms is doing what they can to shed their harcroe fps image and capture all fans of gaming also titles that used to be exclusives to sony are now shared between sony and MS. games such as gta, smackdown vs raw,final fantasy,resident evil hs been fair game for a yr now.truthfully i believe sony fans think they have more solid exclusives than they really do. kingdom hearts,god of war,metal gear solid are the only titles that are noteworthy exclusives. its going to be see intersting what Nintendo has to offer with its new innovative style of gaming.
Gears of war lloks amazing and is bringing back the co-op play,im loving it

@ cmk0121 Sony have Massive Big titles compared to X-Box .X-Box have a good system but i question there effort to silt them selves from Sony and the have Failed @ that in my eye.They did the oppsite they ported titles hopeing to break even with Sony.Like Madden for Ex:They had the TK series it fail & they cryied they way into geting Madden on there system.I had a X-Box it sit on top of my T.V. for three month,Why no Big titles only ported games i already play on my PS2.Far as 360 goes im not inpressed no HDMI hook up plus where is a big title....Games sale systems not systems sale systems...

yes you are true on that. look at the ps3, there will be many well known series having launch title games, and that will attract people like a bug zapper to flies. killzone 2, mgs4, rr7, ut2007, etc. its looking to seriously be the best launch ever. i dont know why people thought the 360 launch lineup was good. maybe the xbox is too original with its games? some people like that but i love to venture into a new world with charachters ive grown to enjoy and gameplay i know and love.

stil not getting it bout the whole hdmi thing. the ps3 has two hdmi input but not even one of their t,v's even have two inputs for the hdmi. so what happens when your cable box and your ps3 need the input...sucks for you. if it was that important it would be standard for tv's to have more hdmi inputs for them. also the hdmi is only for the Blu-ray player which movies for are about $40 so im not stressing it. im not going too big into the whole new HD-DVD ,Blu-ray era til they get their minds out of my pockets and drop the price. 40 bucks for a movie thats f*ck*ng nuts, all for a high def movie. Buy a high quality up-conversion dvd player for 1/6 the price and enjoy ur dvd's on 1080i. none of sony's tv's even support or can reciveve the 1080p signal sony speaks of being truly next gen so sony is a little lacking on that ploy.

The HDMI hookup is for the whole PS3 system not just Blu-ray.And you said upconversion DVD players which i happen to own one.When you buy a PS3 do that mean everyone going to have a Sony TV.N000000000000.There are other good brand TVs on the Market other than Sony.The only Sony TV i seen in the consumer report that got good rating was the Sony XBR 40"Bravia LCD HDTV.Your right about the 1080p thing but i think i read something that i will be a TV that will runn @ 1080p...dont hold me too that because i cant remeber the article that good.The TV will hit the Market i think it said late this year....

I won't part with any cash until LG get the ORGANIC screens on the market. The quality will be far superior to any HDTV seen today.
The prices for the HDTV and then the BR/HD-DVD discs is way over what I am willing to pay. I'm going to sit back and enjoy what I have for a while. My PS2 keeps me happy enough, my PC rocks, and the TV well it's not too great but it didn't cost in excess of £1500 and it does the job. Also my DTS/DD 5.1 surround system is great and gives movies and games another dimesion.
It won't be long and specialised cinemas will be showing movies in Digital 3D, something that cannot be acheived at home and MAY be reason enough to go to the cinema to watch a movie for a few bucks/pounds as opposed to the crazy prices of the next gen discs. To be honest though I am happy with my DVD movies for the moment until things settle a little and the hype and ridiculous prices are reduced.
I have memories of this same thing with PS1 and PS2 prices as well as DVD players, recorders etc.

biased = bad!!
as it avoids sum truth aswell.
the 360 has many more killer anticipated games. sum very gud 1's are coming out. PS3 has got sum good 1's aswell, but there not my genre most of em. but because there not my type doesnt mean i call them crap or w/e cos its not true. there good but i dunt favour them as much as others.
thats how you should be speaking. not like, PS3's games r0x0rZ and 360 games are for Ub3r n00bZ0rZ! thats just sad and childish. Show maturity, lol. play nice :-P
Don't judge the consoles by specs, more isnt always better, espec in PS3 specs.i know the truth, ask if u wanna know.......

i know what u mean about the hmdi being for the system but it will only be for the movies to be in 1080p not the games so thats what i meant by that. as far as what i said about sony not having a tv that can support 1080p i know not all people have s sony tv but its kinda corny to state that 1080p is the true next gen but not make tvs that support ur system which is supposed to be a counterpart to those very hdtv's. thats kinda bad marketing,if sony had tvs that supported it that would maek much more af a marketing sales point,buy the system and tv from sony not just the system. by doing wht they've done they have pretty much sent people out to get other brands for HDTV other than sony becasue u want to maximize the systems potential and thats 1080p

as long as i have been on this forum i have always said xbox 360 has awesome games coming out soon, but i have never said that there are not many games or good games coming out for the ps3 when i have never looked into them. and i say this b/c i know that if you have even one look at the list of games for the xbox 360 you will see several killer apps.

you arent a true gamer
Any true gamer will tell you alot of those games look awesome regardless of which system they are coming out on.
Im betting if they were upcoming titles for the PS3 you would be singing a different tune.

i only buy a game if its truly worth my money, and if it seems like its fun will last more than a year. owning a ps2 for 4 years, i only have like 15 games for it.

By looks i meant videos of gameplay. So what you're tellin me is that you pretty much have nothing to back up any PS3 titles because they arent out yet. So how are you able to say xbox360 titles wont be any good when you have nothing to base it on xcept videos, the same videos that somehow show you that ps3 will have awesome games.

yeah that is what i try and point out but the next day some comes and says the exact same thing about how the xbox 360 is not next gen and that the ps3 games will be oh so much more satasfying, i am not telling you to love the xbox 360 games, i myself also dislikeed the launch of the xbox 360 but i think you can not really judge a console until you have seen what it is really capable of and i think you know anubis that the xbox 360 is capable of a lot more than the launch games but you still wish to judge it on that basis. also i made this list purely on gameplay and that coincidentaly brought games with great graphics, also well put wooopz.
