Was digging through some movies I haven't gotten around to watching yet...Suspec Zero, pretty good. Amityville 2005, excellent remake and so was the hills have eyes. And just for the hell of it Shaun of the Dead, still funny as hell.

I saw both the 1st POTC movie and didnt like it at all. I went to the 2nd one hoping it could redeem itself but again, no dice. I dunno if I can bring myself to see the 3rd one. I guess I am not really into those types of movies because they are soo fake and unreal it doesnt interest me.
Im looking forward to seeing The Black Dahlia and The Wicker Man soon. I would have seen the already but I haven't got around to it yet. Anybody else seen these yet?
Big Thanks To Jamaal10!

@andersg
i would advise you to give Wicker Man a miss and rent the original instead.the original is really good.the remake is terrible.remakes tend to be bad anyway but this one even beats The Omen to the prize of 'just how bad of a remake can we possibly make?'
then again, you liked Scary Movie 4 and i hated it and you didnt like Pirates and i enjoyed it so maybe we have opposing tastes and youll like it.

lol.further proof of our opposing tastes.i hated the hype from the start.then again,i think youve had a lucky escape there.i really dont think you wouldve enjoyed that one.most people seem to agree on that one being bad.even those that havent seen or werent fans of the original (im a fan of the original so im biased and that played a big part in my hating that one)

Just saw Lucky Number Slevin and I thought it was real good. I dont know why people are tearing apart that film. It was fun and had a lot of twists. It was not as good as The Usual Suspects, but it was good.
I also saw Little Miss Sunshine and that movie was terrific. Very Funny, (if you like dark humor) and very well acted. best comedy of the year so far. Come to think about it, that is not really saying much cause it was a very poor movie year. So many dissappointments. Superman sucked, XMen was not up to par, and although it was a fun movie, Pirates was disapointing because of the cliff hanger. Not to mention, Taladega Nights was funny, but not Wil Ferralls best. It was no Anchorman.
Next year sounds promising though, we have Spiderman 3, Transformers, POTC3, TMNT, The Simpsons Movie, Silver Surfer Movie, Ocean's 13, Shrek 3, The Bourne Ultimatium, and Reno911! just to name a few. Hopefully it will make up for this year!

I just got in from School for Scoundrals. It has its funny parts but isnt really the type of movie I would normally go to see. Overall I'd say it is an OK movie. Worth the $8.70 I spent on it.
Big Thanks To Jamaal10!

I have to agree, the modern Omen was not up to the hype and left me disappointed. I would recommend watching the original. Talladega Nights was funny and entertaining but you have to go into the movie expecting a Will Ferrel type movie. Anchorman sucked big time so TN made up for it.
Looking forward to seeing Amityville 2005, haven't saw that one yet.

I like watching movies, it about all I have any strength for after work, here my two penneth:
I am a big fan of Jason Statham so went off to see Crank. Can't say it was one of his best but it was not all bad, had some humour in it and some gore but all in all not bad. I hope they make a new Transporter movie!
Mi3 quite a slick movie with a few twists & turns can't say I would buy it but I have seen worse.
The Chronicles Of Narnia has to be one of my fav's! Its filmed very nicely and the effects in it are superb. I read the book as a child and it seems to follow it pretty closely. They begin filming Prince Caspian in the new year.
The DaVinci Code is a thought provoking movie. What I think a lot do not understand is a certain amount of truth within the movie.
Ok well that's enough of my ramblings for now!

LOL.yeah,i gotta go see Borat sometime next week.
sadly, like his other alter ego Ali G,it will be misunderstood as dumb racist,sexist,anti-semantic blasphemy when its actually very cleverly parodying Americas stereotypes the same way Ali G was parodying white people who think theyre black and the whole chav culture.
noone got a dvdspot or dvdaficionado account?
