yeh i got no problems with anybody so lets all just keep it that way and talk about video games which is what the forum is meant to do. I actually felt the "trash talking" that went on made it a more fun type of thing but i guess im alone on that one.I think it strange that people would IM eachother to speak of me im very flattered even if they were speaking negatively cause it means i got under grown peoples skin by "bashing" a video game console.
ps3 talk: yeh people are always going to want more and always be dissapointed its just how we are made up.We have become a breed of people with expectations which is wierd because if you expect something then you essentially beleive you deserve it and in the case of video games we do deserve it since we spend our money.AHhh that may or not make sense but sony,ms,or whoever if they say they are going to deliver something whether its now or a a yr from now they should deliver it.I dont like that sony or MS or whoever list waht systems are going to have and then just say that was a prototype and so forth,if its a prototype than dont tell me whats in it cause then i'll be dissapointed when i find out im paying the same price stated but getting less than was mentioned before.I sometimes feel like im alone in the pride issue of games,ive only seen a few people get genuinely mad when being lied to or when systems talk their specs up only to bring the truth to surface after other consoel are released. I like what MS has done with making the option of getting the HD-DVD drive but i like it i dont think it will be profitable to them because the technology wont be pushed as well like it will be with the ps3 cause their kinda forcing peoples hands which is really a great move or just the opposite
im not sure how you think you are paying the same price as you would for the so called prototype. sony for example just released the price, and never spoke of it before. so what proof, or how do you know you are paying the same amount?? im not sure if you remember, but of course it was those so called 'analysis/experts' who were at one time saying the ps3 costs something like $900+ to manufacture, and would have to retail for $700. i think some people just take things too personal. if people are arguing that they are sick of these big businesses be able to, in their opinion lie/change/delete things, then i have some unfortunate news for them as this happens all the time. the best part of all this is simply the ps3 was always shown "conceptual design," and i do not believe their final specs were released (correct me if im wrong).
