But (in my opinion) it's not leveling up why ppl play Rpgs it's more to see the how the characters and the story progresses.

sup guys , I been gone 4 a while and this thread just jumped out at me because I have a new vote .. Star Ocean until the end of time is one of the best games I ever played . Its new on my list and was slept on by alot of people .. I still havent beat it yet and I started the game 2 years ago lmfao .. well worth the money

hello everyone. First of all I think that most of the games mentioned are really good like mgs series, gta series, gt series, re series but you all are forgetting one of the best games to ever hit the PS2, SILENT HILL 2! well I really like all silent hill games but part 2 was just amazing.

One game I feel was very underated was Freedom Fighters, Thought this game was the dogs bollocks and still playing it to this day, just hope they make fredom Fighters 2 with online play. Just how good would that be?

My favorite PS2 games of all time, they are FF X, FF XII (not
finished at 100%), GT 4, Resident Evil series (Resident Evil 4 is
best), GTA 3 (when it WAS good), GTA Vice City (when it WAS good
also) GTA Sanandreas, GTA Liberty City Stories, GTA Vice city
Stories, Tomb Raider: Anniversiary, and Tomb Raider Legends.
I can do what i want because I'm a NINJA.

some off the best games that came out...lmao...dont get me started... o well. i think the best serise that came out was the MC serise it had the best game play, for example MC1 was the thing that pretty mush start how street racing games were made now... and MC2 was 1 of the illest games of that time period... then MCDE came out and just stomped every other racing street or not out of there place i think no game will measure up to the MC games!

ok, now the next best serise that came out was MK no fighting game can compete with that besides street fighters.. but i think MK was better.. the reason i say this is cause i grew up playing MK and SF.. just the styles of characters, the gameplay, the combos, specials i think the best 1 to come out of this serise is MK:deception i think that armegedon was a down fall from the progressions of this game, the only thing i liked about it was the create a character

another game i liked was devil may cry 2 i didnt really favor NE other of that serise (im not saying that wernt good though)...but i like that game.. i liked it for the originality in it.. i might havee missed a game but i think it started the games that were like the such as GOW GOW2 and ect. if MC games wouldnt have came out this would probably be my favorite game of all time.
o and y u post this threed u just lookin for some ideas of games to get if so hit me up ill give u some good ones.

I still hold what i said GT3 and Gt4 are the best games on ps2.
Gt3 sold more then any other ps2 game and it nearly pushed the ps2 to the limit on it's launch which i find amazing.
Gt4 really showed us of how much the ps2 was and is capable of Gt4 can run in 1080i at about 30+fps with 6 very high polygon count cars and amazing looking scenery it really showed that Forza was nothing compared to it Forza Lacked in Graphics compared to Gt4.
Gt4 also has about 780cars all accuretly Brought forward from real life.
I think the Gt's are the best games on ps2 they did all the amazing stuff as i explained and they are maybe the best racing games made.
Gt4 is one game that you can say to a Xbox fanboy when they say Ps2 looks worse then Xbox you just say It dosent look better then GranTurismo 4 it shuts them up tight LOL! i know from experienece.

Metal Gear Solid 2 was one of the most confusing games I ever played, but it's my favourite :P
Then after that comes MGS3
Then the GTA's of course, have em all for both PSP and PS2.

Personally for me all PS2 games rock as long as there is a lot of boom bang rrrr...sort of like in Resident Evil 4, or Black , or even the burnout series. My favorite game of all time is a question i could not answer for a jackpot.
EDIT!!!
I forgot to mention tomb raider. I love that game !! Why? Because it is the only game where you get to play a HOT BABE!!!
