As long as the game makers are going to make PS2 ver's of game the PS2 will live on...I don't think with a $500-$600 price tag on the PS3 that we'll see the PS2 dying off anytime soon... They still make Xbox games and 360 has been out for awhile I don't see PS2 being any different..

I think the Gamecube would die off before the Xbox or PS2 at this point..

knowing sony they will end all PS2 support in the ent eyar in order to force people to get a PS3 0_o

GC will smoothly run on the WII so theres no need for them to stop game production just yet
