i have 2 questions about how ps3 is gonna affect ps2............
1)when ps3 comes out will ps2 still have online or will it be terminated?
2)when ps3 comes out in best buy are ps2's still going to be on the shelves and if they are are there going to be price cuts for the ps2?

the first question hmm you got me there but the second , I think it still has plenty of life still there , it still has god of war, god hand, and other great games comin out I think when the ps2 is near the end when it hits $99.99 then thats when they pretty much burned out . so that still means its doin good alot of people are gone wait to get a ps3 since the ps2 still has alot of games that aint hit yet .

There have been tons of threads on how to make sig's please do a search.
EDIT: Ok I will tell you. Go to a web site like http://www.imageshack.us/, then get the picture you wan then upload it. After that you just have to copy the link like hotlin1 and erase everything before img.

Yeah read it in a PSM magazine afew months ago. It said they finally stoped selling I was surprised too when I first heard it. Even when the ps2 stops selling you can still get it used some where.

I figure the PS2 online will still run for a long time, people will still be playing PS2 online with the PS3. So slowly PS2 game servers will be deleted when the games become less popular, and replaced with PS3 servers.

as far as online goes Sony has no real control over how long servers stay up because of the fact that sony lets its 3rd party software companys deal with how server run on ps2 games unlike Xbox live which is owned and ran by microsoft

Stay for 2-3 months after ps3 comes out.

I wouldnt see why you wont be able to play PS2 games online anymore since u could probably play them on the ps3. Im sure ppl play Halo2 online on the 360 so why would it be different on the PS3?
Clockwise a link to support ur claim would be nice cuz saying that you have been told doesnt really convince anyone.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

they stopped making ps1 games not to long ago. several years after ps2 came out. ps2 is still the top system out selling everything. they will make games for it for afew years to come. and with online gaming being the trend those games will have online gaming. i know were i live ps2s are fling off the shelfs right now. sony will make money were they see it and its still with the ps2 and its games.

the PS2 will have games made for it for the next 2-3 years I suppose the network for the PS2 will also slowly lessen and then end in that time but other than that not much sure it could come down to 99 but sony needs money to fund its ps3 champaign LOL

Yeah there is not that much news on devil may cry 4 yet. All what I have seen was a hand full of screen shots over the internet and in a magazine called PSMHe looks younger the picture that I have then yours. Although are you sure the one you posted is authentic?
