that kid deserves it. i would love to see the look on his face when he opens the box at x-mass.
PS3 specs may look better than xbox 360 but i am yet to see a game on the PS3 that looks better than any of the top end xbox 360 games such as gears of war, mass effect and halo 3.

It doesn't matter if it online is free or not its only 50$ a year. if you add a few years and the cost of the xbox you still are paying more for the ps3. Though it would help if microsoft let us play for free.

im noticing a trend. most people in here are saying one service or another is the best because "its better". what justification is that? xbl was here first, and has been out longer. xbl used to blow at the begining but it got better over time. even the 360's launch xbl was only 4/5 what it is now. give the ps3's online more time to develope, from what i can see its going to be pretty nice.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

So basically the argument here is PS3 online is better just because it's free?? Cheaper not necessarily better. Please can anyone answer with true facts. Does the PS3 have downloadable demos? videos? xbox live arcade games?online chat??
I'm not saying the PS3 doesn't have those options, I honestly don't own a PS3, but would like to know what is included in this free online of the PS3 because the XBL costs you money but has losts of options. I love the tournaments they do in XBL. So down the line forgetting that Ps3 online is free. Which is really better?????

well, you get a user account that you can send messages and images with. you get whats at the ps store (so little right now) like demos, games, and trailers. people with wifi or firewall problems who could not host now can. i still believe they need time to get things together, and that will be within the year.
