THANKS MATE NEE GOOD IVE TRYED EVERYTHING ITS GANNING BACK SEEMS LIKE A DODGY BOX TO ME IVE EVEN USED 4 COMPUTERS WITH NO JOY CHEERS TREV.

Hi just a quick question before i buy my starview. Roughly how often do the boxes go down and need updates installed, Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

ive had mine 8 months and its never gone down even when the others in the area have. the sv box is the tops once you get to know it.

Once your scan has completed, either press exit or power off to get out of the screen, then go to Menu and select parental control, from the parental control screen press info button and then put the code 2004 in. This will bring up the hidden option screen.
At this point you need to go down to key emu and put to (on)
Now press exit till you get back to the TV picture.
Change channel to a scrambled channel and wait for the update to run, normally takes about ten to fifteen seconds. When update is complete all channels should be clear.
My problem is that when i go to the parental control screen and press the info button, nothing happens. This is meant to bring up the hidden option screen. but it doesnt come up. is there something i can do because im missing lots of channels...please please please help. if anyone has any suggestions please email me on gooeylue@hotmail.com...happy paddys day

pressing 1570 still doesnt do anything. how else do i turn emu on. one more wuestion. i didnt get a Null modem cable with the box or a c.d. where do i buy these? and does it matter that i bought the box in the uk and i live in ireland. im really confused..please help

Do a factory reset on your Starview. Press MENU & 1570 quickly to bring up the hidden menu. You can buy Null Modem cables on ebay or from Maplin's http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ModuleNo=13509&doy=15m3
it dosen't matter where you bought your box from, they all work the same.

after scan goto scrambled channel press menu goto parental control press info type in 2004 its opens a new page turn key emu to on and exit until you go to tv screen and hey presto. easy

Hi can someone help me please my skysports1,3 and extra as well as some skymovies channels seems to be dissapeared and I have done auto scan , manual scan , factory reset but still no success!! Is it because sky stops these channels or mydigibox start going potty? any info, help will be highly appreciated, thanks Fekker and all techno guys for your help and effort in here.
