by the way... i was reading it from this thread. thought i could brought to your attention since you guys are looking for another exploit to work on project 3.12 . Im no programmer so all i can do is to find info that might help this project. hope it was helpful..

no dude its most likely a flash game which formats your psp
gta is the best thing to run this so instead of loading the game it runs the save but the save file tells it to do something else soo it does the something else and it tells it to write HEN then its easy to downgrade a HEN

3.03+ are able to play psx/psone games right? so i can probly convert that eboot into thinking its an psx/psone game and that will work. BUT i need the eboot you guys got.so am i in?

It should work if they change it to a fake 3.5 update. I think the fake update exploit would be a hard one for sony to patch, so we (as in the programmers, i dont know anything) could keep changing it to fake a newer firmware.

ok im bak schools over im still working on the programing. I keep gettin the same error code when i try to recode the 1.50 Data.psar it comes up that the game cannot be played. people dunt realize that the best firmware to work on are the older ones like 3.10 or 3.11. Since 3.30 and 3.40 have been out for awhile working on them would be ok, but y would it be easier to work on an update that jus came out? the updates gunna have more security in it..but ya.. ill still keep u guys posted. if u wanted help look for programming programs like HEX edititing and stuff. but ya more updates later

lol u have my msn and aim right? hit me up on there! oh ya i ran into a problem and i dunt know wut to do. it seems that only 1.50 runs on a proxy..when searchin with the hex editor i looked for proxys in 3.50(i got bored lol) 3.40, 3.30, 3.11. Wut are these how do these firmwares run? i deleted the proxy from the 1.50(3.12) Eboot, but the same code came up. i dunt kno how i shud go about this. How should i recode the proxy, so that it runs. im kinda lost..ima try ro recode the proxy with another firmwares proxy once i find out where it is C_C...ban humbug this is confussing but ill keep trying...Kzzzzt (Blackwire has signed off at 6.53) lol

you're rite, there was even a video om youtube of someone trying this, but unfortunatley, he got a start, but it gave a game error, but with the help of alot of experienced people, maybe we'll get something

and y'all have the sony security signature already hacked eh? wouldn't that be the only way to accomplish any of this? making said PSP think the program was signed by sony? maybe i'm just talking rubbish, not to mention you still need to get full access to the kernel, not just user access. but maybe you've already figured out how to make the 1.5 eboot work like it did on 2.0 after overloading using the TIFF Exploit (which is no longer an option) you could try to contact some of the other Downgrade developers, not necessarily Noobz, but someone....not trying to burst any bubbles, not even sure if i'm coming across clear or not, but hopefully i am. good luck fellas.
-> the game error and everything is caused by it corrupting the sony signature.....

wow Smurff seems smart, maybe he shud jus help us lol C_C....i mean common! lol all 3.10+ users want to do is to play homebrews and stuff like 3.03- users. So smurff what do u mean the signature? could u help me understand so i can help thousands of people?

yeah it's what scott said it was, basically it just had encoded pieces of information telling the PSP this program file is legit, you can run it. u start hex'in the stuff and the signature is fubared and it won't run anymore.
