strange though, i got mine as a gift in late 2005. 3.03OE gives incorrect dxar when i try to run the firmware installer. i think theres something missing in the main psp unit or something, it just doesnt want to be flashed. thanks for your help nevertheless :)

Of course you can play UMD in 3.52 M33. Why wouldn't you be able to?

how did you finally solve your problem with 3.40 oe?
I have now ypur same probs, the same error during m33creator installation... how can Ido?

i had the same problem as well with a 1st gen psp..tried many different installers and ways, downgrading upgrading etc...

all errors

followed this on http://www.krizka.net/2007/08/24/upgrade...are-to-352-m33/

krizka.net is a blogger about psp.

formatted my stick starting with 1.50 and followed his instructions and file and everything worked fine.
