Right ho..
I'm gonna be straight here.. most of this crap is down to a lot of shaking. some of it by me. People were complaining about the shitty state this site was in so instead of complaining a few of us took more direct action. It resulted in a much more proactive zero tolerance policy.. which is good for a tech forums site.
Lets be honest here.. there was far too much bickering and garbage going on.. at last we managed to get attention and the changes that were needed.. (if you don't believe me ask dela about our night of serious irc debate on the subject)
Now some people may think things have become unfair and biased. I can report that is not the truth. It was important to get something done, and there will be casualties in any stir it up and see what falls out action.
About ireland.. he's probably just off on one of his "holidays". we know about them and understand how it goes don't we?? Been there.. seen it and got the t-shirt. He will be back when it suits him.. no worries.
in parting (going to watch Polly Harvey live at some huge thing in the states wot I just pirated off t'internet) peace to all.. no more warring.. It's coming to the end of a crappy year. Lets all just try to get along and remember the REAL mission of this site.... to allow fair use of something you have paid for.. no more, no less.
(dammit.. the site admin side comes out again)
regards to all my friends.. not listing them, you know who you are ;-) just saying.. peace.. no more stirring.. would like to see the last idea thrown to dela implemented.. the archiving of old stuff and closure of things that are solved/stumped/abandoned after a certain number of posts.
Aus.. please reconsider your actions.. I told you to keep your head down.. not go off on a strop (doing an ireland?.. lmao) C'mon bud.. it's never that bad... unless like me you need a new start.
oi zoso.. I like your new look.. much better. Didn't know you were a zep fan. battle of evermore FTW eh? peace bro.. why not start a "favourite zep tune" thread? I can go with that.

Rumours that garmoon is human have been falsly exaggerated..
All we know about said subject is he has a mother... which implies a biological background.. whether that is carbon or silicon based is open to conjecture.

We had about 40 trick or treaters at our house and still had candy left over and that isn't counting the 10 pounds me and my boy gathered up walking around the neighborhood.

Mushroom hunting. I watched Dr Strangelove and can't get Slim Pickens last ride off my mind. LOL Weird movie. If you've never watched it, give it a try. It's a pretty good comedy.

I still get a good laugh from some of the lines and gags they used. Pickens character name was appropriate, Maj. T.J. "King" Kong.

Apparently that description needs some adjustment.

I know you have taken on a "difficult" responsibility but you can do it. Halloween was terrible for us (ME).
Someone broke into my house but didn't get much thank goodness. I'm poor and have 3 kiddies so we don't have anything or any money...lol We weren't home so again THANK GOD for that. Get this they broke into the FRONT door. How big of reproductive organs do you have to have for that?? Anyway I replaced the FRONT door with a metal one and if they get in now it won't be thru the FRONT door.... :P
The kiddies went to the Fall Festival at our church so they had a little fun. NOT much candy tho. lol. THAT's ok tho, they don't NEED it!!!
