With the Wiikey at 1.9g and the Wii at 3.2 you can play all the backups!. And I mean ALL OF THEM, so far.

if you mean 1.9g having trouble playing a real version of SSBB then yes, 1.9g cant play it. If you mean a backup, 1.9g works.
if you have the real version i recomend NOT doing the corrupting method unless you want to end up like me with a dead(hopefully not for good) wiikey
thk for the reply Snoba77er
Ok what i m having now
1) 1.9B Wii key
2) US Ver Wii
3) SMBB NTSC Backup
4) 3.1U
so what shld i do? pls advice.should i update 3.2U n 1.9G? if yes wch is the step i shld do first?
I had the latest version updated from SMG and 1.9g (unfortunately I forgot to check what version SMG actually updates to)..
When I updated to the latest, 3.2U, my Wiikey went to crap. That's when after a couple of times and literally opening my Wii I got it recovered back to 1.9b, reflashed to 1.9g and now I'm at 3.2U and 1.9g and all working fine.
I also thought that MAYBE the small battery you remove from your Wii might have something to do on how to recover your Wii with the disc? Just a thought.. Because I did remove it when I opened my Wii...
can i confirm
1) update to 1.9G
2) Then go internet download 3.2U
can i cofirm? if i use this above way i can smg or at least lastest house of dead2/3?
I have the same problem here. I installed my Wiikey, updated the firmware. Everything worked fine and played a Copy of Super Paper Mario without problem.
2 days later, the error message came, for any disk (copy and originals). I opened the Wii and looked at the soldering. Closed the Wii and restarted, it recovered and I was able to play again. I did'it for 2-3 days and until a got again the error message (eject the disk....). I this point wasn't able go get my Wii work anymore, so I opened it again, with no success.
Then I decided to remove the wiikey to at least get the wii work with original disks. But still no success!!! Is my Wii screwed? Wii without Wiikey and nothing works???
I think I did my job well when I installed the WiiKey at first, because it worked for few days....
