I don't know where all these specs came from but I know it did not come from Nintendo as they have yet to announce the system. Yes the new controller is going to be for the new system and work with the older Wiis but the new console has yet to be seen. The only thing I can confirm is a 25GB capacity disk(Supposedly Blue-Ray) that they are going to be using for games.
In that case, wouldn't the console have been announced, but just not seen yet? (But I remember them having mockups of the new system that visitors could demo - not necessarily final products, but not necessarily old systems either.)
Ok this is the New stuff I just found officially from Nintendo so I am a little behind but I was correct when I started my comments, my bad.

This is the console and they showed the controller which is kind of dumb if they had this thing in ready. Who gives a crap about the controller it's just another gimmick, it's the system and the games that are going to matter and hopefully they are not going to drown us in those G-Damn party games.
PLEASE NINTENDO AND 3RD PARTYS(no pun intended) NO MORE PARTY GAMES!!!!!
So if I confused anyone my apologies, I am reading this stuff at the same rate as you guys
