Novus, website looks good. Hard to read the text b/c of the green color though (but don't change it, I love that dark green). Find a way to change the text and make it lighter. Your "extra" link could be to redvsblue.com, or bungie.halo.net. Overall it looks pretty good, just needs some pages attached to the links. :-)

Umm.....i think the website is GEAT!!!But for some reason it wont show my your halo icons or fonts but it will show me the fonst from bungie....and how can i make a website..lol like give me the website to make a website lol.....but besides that i think its cool

Im back. Again. This is so great, I just got airborn with a banshee in metropolis, after the big tunnel, does anyone know where the scarrab weapon is? Which bulding? Anyways, what do people think about the idea that mc is going to earth to destroy it (if it is the ark, to prevent it setting off ALL the halos?) ?

We're really sad arn't we? AW, who cares! Roll on Feb. 9th (has anyone actually see that on their screens whos not a liar by the way?). Also, what are the halo books about and are they set before and after the halo series or just before? Are they well written?

they are really well written. They set first before halo 1 and during halo 1 and halo 2, they are now workin on books after halo 2

Damn you fagbags really need to get a life my bad Im just kidding. I was suppose to be long gone out of this forum but some of you had to bring in the PS2 into this. Come on now why would you say bad things about the ps2 I mean you obiously havent been playing enough of it. The ps2 is completely kick ass and especially most of its games and definately GTA san andreas which is off the hook!!! Way more better than Halo2. I mean whats better than building your own empire and hireing your own gang. And some of the ps2's graphics are complete sweet as hell now believe that, some games have so much graphics they make xbox look like X-suck.You know what I use to be the same way with xbox until I played ps2. Dont get me wrong I am both an xbox ans ps2 fan and Im just trying to look out for them. By the way the reason I came back was to see if anyone had responded to my question. And yes I have read the halo books and its mainly about 75 kids being kidnaped and replaced with clones as they are trained in the spartan 2 project but only 30 manage to be spatans but they all die as one manages to survive and go on to the ring world halo and that is John also known as master chief. By the way Im out of my famous predictions for now.

I hear a lot of people talking about Halo 2.5 or 3 or whatever the hell it's called coming out in February or whenever. I haven't beaten Halo 2 yet but I have heard from everyone that the story ends so abruptly.
For that reason I could see why people are going to start saying "oh there's going to be another Halo because the story ended like this..."
One reason I don't believe in another Halo coming out anytime soon is that it just doesn't make any damn sense. Why in the world would Bungie/Microsoft release the biggest game of the year and not say a word officially to the public that even hinted that there was going to be a continuation of the story?? I find it hard to believe that all of a sudden Bungie comes out and says "Surprise! There's another Halo! We know you just bought #2 a couple months ago so now for another $60 here's the rest of it!" I don't know....just sounds very stupid to me.
I'm sure there's going to be a Halo 3 eventually. I don't expect it out for at least a couple of years though. Maybe not until the next xbox. Yeah Halo 2 might have been too big to fit onto 1 disc and so they would have split it, but it sounds more logical that they would just say "let's just wait and bring it out later.
I could be wrong but I just don't think this talk about it coming out within the next few months is even logical.

T-Spartan: C'mon dude, you can't be serious about PS2's graphics. The PS2's graphics are on par with the Dreamcast. The cut scenes are always good, but that's only cause it's basicly a movie. Actual gameplay is pretty week.
Look at games that are on both consoles; Madden, GTA and such. There's no comparison, X-box layeth the smacketh down. And look at the marginal improvement from PS1 to PS2. It's almost a PS 1.5 instead of 2.
I wonder why Sony was so hesitant for Rockstar to make GTA for X-box. Could it be that they knew this would show their shortcomings?

Actually, John isnt the only spartan left, because in the last Halo book, First Strike, they say that one is wounded, but never said she died, Sarah or something like that is her name. But you have to think though too, if the Spartan Program had at least 30 successes out of 70, its not like they wont try again. I mean they may have made modifications to their experiements so that it is more likely for the testers to live through the excruciating process of being able to with stand the power of the Mark 6 armor. ALso, look at it this way....if they dont mention anything about Halo 3 or Halo 2.5 right away even though a majority of the public says there "has to be", it makes for a good marketing stradgety(fuck I cant spell lol). Also though, they did say they will make downloadable content for the game, so, maybe thats how they will finish the game. They will just spread it out over a time(Maybe as a count down to XBox 2???? Or possibly a count down to the actual next Halo game????? And the downloadable content would be just little clips or something...who knows, we will have to wait and see) Those are my two cents on this subject.

In response to the above....exactly! If there was going to be another Halo to finish this one off why is there no info other than people saying "I heard..."
Sh** there would be websites, magazine articles, etc. at the very least HINTING at another Halo game. Like I said earlier, logically it just doesn't make sense. Bungie is going to bring out the last portion of the game only a few months after selling probably the biggest game in history?? They're making money off of all the people who joined LIVE, and all the people who actually got the game. What would they do with another Halo? Add online support again? change a couple of little things? Think like a capitalist bastard business man...you would want to release it in such a way where you leave your customers hanging so that they will be guarenteed to buy the next product. Now that (to me) makes perfect sense!

Oh I know! They are just doing this whole thing probly so they can get more money seein as most if not all are pissed at how crappy the ending was(dont get me wrong, its still a good game). But they could have at least finished it off the way they finished Halo 1, I mean have some sort of ending and not some crappy cliff hanger.

well of course they want to make more money why make one mean as game and make a sertan amount of money when they can stop the second one where it leaves everyone wanting to "finish the fight" so they make into 2 games and make twice as much money, seems pretty logical to me!

EXACTLY....which is why I'm saying that they took FOREVER making halo 2. They programmed SO much stuff that the whole game wouldn't fit on 1 disc, so they split it into 2. My guess is that they have the entire 2nd part of the game completed, they're just looking to do some rennovations to XBL (adding new maps/weapons etc.)
And yes, the PS2 does suck. The graphics are terrible, and you have to $buy$ multiple memory cards if you want to save everything. You have to $buy$ an adapter to play with four people. You have to $buy$ a network adapter to play online. You have to $buy$ the hard drive if you want to play final fantasy online. The only thing you have to $buy$ for the XB is the DVD adapter (totally worth it). Did anyone play Transformers for the PS2? I was so unbelieveably dissapointed, that game could have been so much cooler. Yes yes, GTA is very cool, but is a FAR much better game on the XB. And it's not multiplayer...now is it? So your buddies just sit around and watch while you play...really fun.
Gimme an XBox and Halo 2 anyday. Find me another 1st person shooter that matches up on the PS2...

I read through all of the pages and I just have to say something:
First of all. Those pictures, which someone claimed to be from Halo 3, are actually pics from Halo 1. They are back from the time when it was supposed to come only for Mac and PC.
And about Halo 3: You are stupid to believe these "my cousin's littlebrother's dog works at Bungie"-people. They have given us nothing that could make us believe - Maybe except that (possibly fictional) plot. We'll see at february, if they were telling the truth, but before an official word comes out, I wouldn't bet on Halo 2.5/3 coming so soon.
And btw: The guy who had "There are those who said this day would never come. What are they to say now (or something similar)" on his signature has heard the second sentence wrong by what I think. I have always heard it like: "What a day to say no". Sounds more reasonable, doesn't it? Listen how the prophet pronounces his last word (no/now) and you might understand my point of view.
But I could aswell be wrong, so someone please tell me, if there's a proper answer to this somewhere.

I think Shocked is completely right. I don't believe a word about the next Halo unless it comes from an official source. All these guys claiming to have family working for Bungie...
This is the age of the internet folks!!! Nothing is a secret anymore. We would have heard something official. Hell....games are leaked weeks before they come out!!! And everyone is saying that there's another Halo BEFORE there is any official word?
Hey it's nice to dream! But guys I think we're all SOL until the next Halo comes out and that won't be for quite a while!!!
