harry potter dvd shrink error

hi all i've tried backing up a copy of harry potter and the philosophers stone and dvd shrink gives me the error "dvd shrink encountered an error and cannot continue failed to read drive f:\ Data Error Cyclic redundancy check"

aany one know of this error or how to get past it

Either too dirty or too scratched. Might also be a bad press, if so return it for a diff one. YOu can also try DVDDecrypter or DVDFAB, which are better with problemed disc.
