DVD Shrink freezing up my computer

Does anyone know what would make dvd shrink freeze up my system?It will run great for a few days and then for a few days it will freeze it up.
Anything I can do to make that not happen?

When is the computer freezing? Is it during the transcode or during the burn?

Have you tried to use a free registry cleaner and clean the registry as OS conflicts also cause freezing. Try Googling for one

DVD Shrink and other transcoding programs are very CPU intensive, open your case and get rid of all the dust bunnies, make sure your fans are working properly...heat could be a factor.
