I can encode fine on 3.2 and even if the Nero box is ticked after encoding it has saved it to the hard drive file and says the job is finished without opening Nero for burning.
I have to open Nero 6 and import the files and burn which works well.
I have tried the newer Nero 6 often suggested ( ends in 18 ) and that was even worse.
So whats up , Writer is LG GSA 4167b with firm ware DL13

Are you trying to change the burning speed, or I'm misunderstanding?
If this is what you are trying to do, after you hit "Backup" in DVD Shrink, a window like this will pop up:
You have to have an empty disc in the burner to be able to change the speed from maximum to whatever you want.
Well, maybe he/she found out what needed and deserted us...or maybe some people sleep:~)! I know I couldn't the first day I got my burner and wasn't working! I was using some CMCs, and when I was told to get better media I went to Walmart @ 3:30 Am to get some good media, just so I could have a successful burn and go to sleep!
But again, I'm not normal some say:~)!...
