Well this is my next problem, i have sorted out getting Shrink to fire up Nero 6.6.018 but it trys to burn at 16 x and the only place before it asks for a disc makes no difference if i change it besides it only shows Maximum, 2.4 1.0 or something like that ??
So what gives as it doesnt like 16 x and fails the burn every time.

@Marty, I'm sure in your last thread you wer advised to burn at 4X, nobody burns at 16X unless they want the burn to FAIL. I have also answered your other thread.

To do so manualy with shrink and Nero in conjunction change the settings. In shrink when you click on backup the window pops up to select target and such. Make it look like this and it should remain unless you change it later.

@MARTY
If your ripping and burning from the same drive - shrink will only give your the burn speeds of the disc in the drive or max. So if you have a dvd-rom you will see 1x,2x,2.4x & max.
Rip from another drive and have a blank in the drive your using to burn - then it will give you the supported burn speeds of the blank.

Or if you only have the one drive. Open files from hard drive with blank disk in the drive to make the settings with. Then the settings should be there the next time as long as you don't change them.
@binkie7...Or does shrink change the settings with each rip? Its been a long time for me of not using shrink.

If your only using the 1 drive it only lists the burn speeds for the disc/dvd that is being ripped and max - it won't keep the last speed used like it does if using 2 drives.
Another way around the 1 drive bit is to autoburn w/ decrypter - you can set the burn speed 1st then shut down decrypter - decrypter let's you pick any speed even if no disc is in the drive.
I still use shrink occasionally- just depends what protection the disc has.

Hmmm...Thats good to know. I guess I never know that. As you can see from my settings selection in the pic I posted. Those speeds are with no disk in the burner. But then I have always used hacked burners. If a burners actions can not be changed by the user then they just don't get my $.

I just checked shrink - no disc in drive and I didn't get those speeds your listed on one drive but the other one I did. Interesting - learn something new!
I checked the 1 drive thing again w/ both drives and same thing - only lists the dvd-rom speed (1x,2x,2.4x) and max.
Both drives are unhacked though - Pioneer and Liteon -latest firmware though.
I like your stmt about not being able to change the burners action = not getting $.
