DVD Shrink and quality of the burn?

If I shrink movies to a 4.7 gig dvd how will the quality look compared to the original dvd?

Stupid question but please give a reponse.

If it is the 7gb .iso then if you use Deep Analysis w/ the smooth AEC Quality Enhancement it will look OK. If you want better then use DVD Rebuilder w/ the free encoders. To use DVD-RB then the file must be in .VOB format instead of .iso format. Anytime you compress a movie you will lose quality but that is in the eye of the beholder

So your saying it's negligable?

My buddy claims that single later sucks for movies yet he has never burned a movie or I dought even seen one. (he's keeping an eye on this post that's why I posted this).

Yeah I'm not talking about the 7 gig iso anymore, I just meant regular shrunk movies, to me the quality is pretty much close to the original.

Mostly I can't even tell the difference am I right in saying this?

If you can not tell the difference why worry as it is your movie not his. Try DVD-Rebuilder ( free version) as that program might suprise you then upgrade to the Pro Verison as it really is better .
