When trying to back up my dvds i always recieve an error before the burn has complete or the burn has even started. Sometimes before it starts to burn and after i have encoded my dvd it says "error, cannot connect TRF" and when it stops about half way through the the burning process i get a totally different error. I am currently running on SP2. My nero is playing up as well when i try to burn avi files it sometimes stops but only on certain dvds like "Devil's Rejects" on other avi files it is fine such as "Final Desination 3". I'm concerned about my nero 6 ultra which i fink is the problem because i cant even copy a dvd of it. When i try it goes for about 2hours then it stops and it only gets to about 70% completed. I have a Emprex Dvd dual 16x double layer internal DVD+R/RW Drive and i trying to burn onto DVD-R. I dont really understand whats going wrong but i hope someone on here can help me with my problem. Thanks!!

You are right in assuming that your Nero is to blame as the "cannot connect to TRF" is Nero's error message. Revert back to version 6.6.0.18 and try again, the latest version 6.6.1.4 is still full of bugs and doesn't DVD Shrink's commands for burning.

Thanx, just so i know what does TRF mean. And why does it fail half way through the burn process?
