Using Sony VRD-VC20 + DL DVD and DVD Shrink Help

I am using Dual Layer Media to record a movie using a sony VRD-VC20 dvd burner. DVD Shrink cannot reconized the disk says wrong dvd navigation. I tryed vob blanker with no luck. I think it records in a DVD-VR format. The movie is about 7.5 gb at 3+ hours so I need to shrink it down to a single layer disk. Any suggestions?

It looks like DVDshrink can't handle the copy protection that's on the disk. Instead of using DVDshrink, try ripping the movie files to your HDD using DVDFab decrypter.

get DVDFab here:

here's a guide on using DVDFab (If needed):
http://www.dvdshrink.info/dvdfab_decrypter.php

Because you're using dual layer media, once DVDfab is done, use folder2iso to convert the files in the VIDEO_TS folder to an ISO image format, then use DVD decrypter to burn the ISO image to disk.

Here's a guide that will take you thru the process step by step, you can also get folder2iso here as well.
