hey everyone i have use shrink and nero before and never had a problem.but when i formated my comp then reinstalled both programs for some reason dvd shrink doesnt read nero. when i click backup it says "to enable burning, dl nero".why is it saying this when i already got it? i got latest versions of both programs. any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks!

Version 6.6.1.4 of nero6 will not work with DVD shrink's autoburn wth nero function/feature, so you'll have to burn the files shrink creates manually. If you want to be able to use the autoburn with nero feature you'll need to install version 6.6.0.18.

If you want to do this, uninstall version 6.6.1.4 using the nero general clean tool founf here:

http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html

When the uninstall is complete, install version 6.6.0.18 packages 1 and 2, you can get them here:

Package 1
http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

Package 2
http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

Re-enter your serial# and you should be ok.

i put in my user key and info but the install key is not lighting up.

Make sure you entered the serial# correctly dashes and all, what message if any are you getting?
