When I use dvd shrink, the movie goes through the analyzing stage, after that when I hit backup, the whole shrink disappears and nothing else happens. What do I need to stop this from not letting me go into backup?? I also have dvd decrypter, but it won't let me chng the settings in backup to convert files to the decrypter.

Welcome to the forum.
That problem you mentioned usually happens when Shrink tries to do one of the newer encrypted movies as it can not break the encryption. You will need to use either AnyDVD ( driver related decrypter) along w/ Shrink or DVDFAB Decrypter and rip the DVD to HD. AnyDVD has a 21 day free trial offer and DVDFAB Decrypter is free

AnyDVD! Shrink may be no longer updated, but AnyDVD will take care of that problem.
