I was reading at the backupscene forums that a guy had preordered his ps3 at toys r us. He said that when he preordered it they gave him 2 free games of his choice and one extra controller for just putting $50 down. Does anyone know if this is true?

My buddy asked about preorder at the local Gamestop a few days ago and the guy there told him that release date had just being delayed again to early 2007. Anyone heard about this?
